The incident took place near Jangalpur when the police, acting on a tip-off, detained two trucks and arrested two people, Dinesh Kumar and Rajesh Roy.
It was revealed that the drugs were being transferred from a truck coming from Uttar Pradesh to another in West Bengal.
Additionally, each truck contained 6,600 bottles of Phensedyl Cough Syrup, which includes Codeine Phosphate, a substance prohibited by the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act.
